This weekend I went to a town that\u2019s been on my France to do list for quite some time now-Lyon! Lyon is the 3rd largest city in France and I loved it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start where is Lyon? I circled in green on the map Lille (where I am based) and Lyon-to give you a sense of distance it\u2019s about a 3 hour train ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lyon has 2 rivers running through it the Rh\u00f4ne and the Sa\u00f4ne, which create this little peninsula called La Presqu\u2019\u00eele (almost an island). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presqu\u2019\u00eele is basically area 3 and 8<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Section 2 is Vieux Lyon (the old part of town):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
